Professional piercing

“Couldn’t it be that it isn’t working because it wasn’t placed in the right spot?”

No. The essence of Medical Piercing is that we approach the wellbeing piercing on a scientific basis, so we also do the piercing professionally and precisely:

We have an ear acupuncture qualification, so we know exactly where the points in the ear that can be stimulated are.
We all come from healthcare, so we also have knowledge of anatomy.
We use an acupuncture point detector, so that we also follow the individual features of each ear.
We do nearly 2,000 piercings a month, so we have the experience.
In medically sterile conditions, we pierce with sterilised instruments, and we help our guests heal perfectly with a free check-up.

Frequently asked questions about the guarantee

How soon can the guarantee be claimed?

The guarantee is valid from a minimum of 6 weeks to a maximum of 6 months after the piercing, because our piercings need at least this much time to reach their maximum effect. Healing itself takes longer than with a “simple” earlobe piercing, since there fatty tissue is pierced, whereas with wellbeing piercings we place the jewellery in cartilage, which heals much more slowly.
How much does the guarantee cost?

There is no labour charge for the reinforcing guarantee piercing; we only charge the price of the new piece of jewellery, which is 5,000 HUF.
When can the guarantee not be claimed?

If the jewellery has an effect but it’s “not quite there” (e.g. instead of 10 headaches a month you now have only 6), it will not necessarily boost the effect, because this may be the maximum effect the piercing can have in that particular body. You can try the guarantee piercing, but it may not strengthen the effect.
Migraine piercings and one-sided symptoms

If a guest has one-sided symptoms, we recommend the jewellery on the side where the symptoms are stronger and more typical. It may happen that they stop or decrease significantly on that side but get stronger or remain on the other side: in this case we recommend inserting the second piece of jewellery under the guarantee as well.

It may also happen that some block in the nerve pathway prevents the jewellery from having an effect on the body. In this case jewellery placed in the other ear can help, because the two ears have paired nerve pathways: the method not working in one does not rule out it being effective in the other.
