This is how the liver piercing works

It is based on the principle of ear acupuncture, according to which certain points of the ear are connected to the internal organs through nerves. The liver point is in the concha area, and according to auriculotherapy its lasting stimulation (by a piercing) may stimulate the work of the liver, especially its detox, hormone-breakdown and bile-secretion functions.

🧬 What is the liver piercing?

The liver piercing is a wellbeing body jewellery piece placed in the part of the ear where, according to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the energetic point of the liver is. The aim is lasting stimulation of the point, which according to our guests’ feedback has a positive effect on liver-related symptoms.

📍 Where in the ear is it placed?

The piercing is placed in the inner part of the ear (the concha area), in an acupuncture point linked to the liver on the auriculotherapy map. The exact position is located with an acupuncture point detector.

🤕 Which complaints is it effective for?

Based on our guests’ feedback, the liver piercing may have a good effect on the following complaints:

  1. Supporting liver detox – stimulating the point may boost the metabolism and help the body’s natural cleansing.
