Where do we pierce? How does it work, and how soon does it take effect?

The Slim (appetite-reducing) piercing is a stimulating piece of jewellery placed in a special point of the ear, the tragus point, which in Hungary has already helped tens of thousands of people reach their ideal weight or reduce binge eating.

In a study published in 2007, a special pressure needle was placed on the tragus of the subjects, giving constant stimulation to the vagus nerve. Based on the observations, prolonged stimulation of the tragus lengthened the time of stomach peristalsis, thereby contributing to a reduction in body weight and appetite.

Nobody can guarantee the effect, because every body works differently, but we do promise that if it hasn’t helped within 6 weeks, we will place a reinforcing piercing in the other ear for 5,000 HUF.

Who are the 7% the Slim piercing doesn’t help? In our experience, there is a high chance of no effect for people whose body does not respond to stimulation of the ear points, for those who do not look after the wound properly so the jewellery cannot have an effect, and where the menopause / nerve complaints are caused by an underlying illness.
