That is exactly why we first have a little chat, and as part of this I carry out an assessment . This is important so that I can assess all your needs regarding the piercing, and whether it is really worth having a migraine piercing done. Of course, during the assessment I examine the condition of your ear and ask you about your complaints, and if you have had any medical history related to migraine, we cover that too.
I mark the location of the migraine piercing based on device-assisted point location, which ensures that the piercing goes exactly onto the right acupuncture point.
After all this, the piercing really takes only a few seconds, which – as you can also see from the opinions above – is only a a feeling like an insect bite. However, it is important to keep in mind the fact that the perception of pain depends greatly on the individual, as you can also see from the above, so how much a migraine piercing hurts can only be decided by experience.
